Meet Emily Jones
With 28 years of leadership experience in the construction industry and five years of service on Buda's Planning and Zoning Commission, Emily Jones brings a rare blend of practical expertise and civic insight to the race for city council.

Throughout her career, Emily Jones has helped shape the physical foundation of the community—building homes, city halls, fire stations, parks, roads, and businesses that serve real people every day. Her deep understanding of infrastructure, budgeting, and project management gives her a unique perspective on how to make city government more efficient, transparent, and responsive.

As a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, Emily Jones has spent the last five years working to ensure that growth in our city is smart, balanced, and in line with our character. She’s been an advocate for holding development accountable for respecting our community’s character while preparing for our future needs.
Now, she’s ready to take that experience to city council.
